The Southern Region of the National Council on Black American Affairs (NCBAA-SO) is an official regional body of the National Council on Black American Affairs (NCBAA) which is an affiliate of the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC). NCBAA is divided into four regional councils across the United States (North Central, NorthEast, Southern, and Western) forming a national organization whereby students, faculty, non-teaching personnel and administrators can work together for a common cause--effective educational opportunities and employment for African-Americans within community college systems.
NCBAA-SO provides an operational network for students and employees of community colleges within the southern states to share, support and promote ideas and programs that are essential to success. NCBAA-SO is committed to ensuring that a quality higher education is available to everyone.
